Winter is a good time to take photos in my studio. Now that I am at home for a while I have lots of time to do that. I am adding a few studio photos to my homepage slideshow. Most are macros, close-ups done with in process of focus stacking in which I take a series of photos starting with the point on the subject closest to the camera and progressing to the farthest point focusing in succession. Then I combine the photos in software. I use a freeware called Combine ZP. It is a little buggy but I've gotten used to it and it is easy to use and produces very good results. One of the photos is not a stacked macro. Can you guess which it is and how it was done? Be sure to click on the photos to read more details about what they are and what I like about them. Please share your opinions as well. I guess I'll be spending a lot of time in my studio over the next few weeks.
