Ed and I finally got out to view some autumn scenery last week after the rains quit. We went out to one of our favorite spots, Sandy Creek Nature Center. But because it had just stopped raining after four days! we knew that our usual hike along Clay Pit Pond would be flooded, so we took the paved North Oconee River Greenway to the steps down to the pond and then on out to the bridge. It was a perfect fall day as you can see from the photos on my homepage slide show.
