I had a chance last weekend in between the rains to get out my camera and extension tubes to take a few photos of bugs. Unfortunately, I don't know what they are all called. There is a black ant on a purple wild petunia. You have to look very carefully in the center of the flower to see it. And there is a bumble bee on the oregano flowers. I don't know what the bugs on the lantana are but they are very personable. The lantana bug shots were taken with a tripod. the others were shot hand-held. My tripod won't go as low as the petunia or oregano. I rarely do that but this was good practice. See them all on my homepage slide show.
