Euphorbia Milii

May 14, 2016  •  1 Comment

My Euphorbia Milii bloomed last week and I was able to get some close-ups of the flowers. This euphorbia is a native of Madagascar. The whole plant is small (mine is less than a foot tall) and its flowers teeny. The center's details are so small you can’t see them all with the naked eye. I took one shot with a postage stamp for a background as a reference.  The pink and yellow flowers bloom at the top of a thorny, succulent stalk. See the details on my homepage slideshow.

Beautiful! Are you planning on putting them on some cards?
